University of Trento – Call for enrolment a.y. 2025-2026

The University of Trento has published the call for enrolment for the a.y. 2025-2026 for two Master’s Degree programs offered by the School of International Studies. The first one is the Master’s program in International Security Studies (MISS), offered in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa. The second one is the Master’s program in European and International Studies (MEIS). The language of all educational activities is English.

Both programmes include a quota of places reserved for non-EU citizens. This category includes candidates who:

  • Are citizens of countries outside the European Union and are not resident in Italy;
  • Are citizens of countries outside the European Union with a study residence permit in Italy but are not resident in Italy;
  • Are citizens of countries outside the European Union with temporary protection status, are not resident in Italy, and have not obtained a secondary school diploma in Italy.

Non-EU candidates who are placed at the top of the ranking may be awarded partial scholarships to cover living expenses in Italy, amounting to a total of 7,200 euros annually. There is 1 scholarship available for the MISS program and 3 scholarships available for the MEIS program. In addition to scholarships, a number of students may be eligible for a tuition fee waiver based on the score obtained in the admission ranking. Another funding option is available for descendants of emigrants from the Trentino Region.

The application deadline for non-EU citizens is set for March 6, 2025.
