The Embassy of Italy in Canada is excited to present Italian a cappella vocal group Mezzotono’s concert in Ottawa, at the National Arts Centre, Fourth Stage, on May 29, 2023 at 7:30 pm.
Mezzotono’s captivating mix of a cappella singing and showmanship has delighted audiences from Dubai to London, from Buenos Aires to Boston. Entertainment and humour are at the heart of every performance. The five-member group brings its outstanding vocal skills to a variety of genres and styles, from classical to jazz and pop, from big band to bossa nova, mambo, tango, and traditional folks songs, blending Italian culture and musical virtuosity in a unique cabaret-style show.
Not only Italy but the theaters of more than 50 countries and 5 continents around the world have hosted Mezzotono’s music making it the European vocal group with the highest number of countries visited in the world with their own music.
In 2020 the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs choose Mezzotono to spread a message in the world to promote the Italian culture together with Andrea Bocelli, Renato Zero, Alberto Angela, Tiziano Ferro, Massimo Ranieri, Mario Biondi, Paolo Conte and Uto Ughi.
