The Canadian Film Institute, the EU Delegation to Canada, and the participating EU Member States, including the Embassy of Italy to Canada, are pleased to present the European Union Short Film Festival (EUSFF) 2023 that this has reached the decade mark. This edition features films from 22 EU countries, and includes short dramas, documentaries, animation, and experimental films presented in three separate programs. Admission to the Festival is free.
Courtesy of local embassies, attendees will enjoy sample-size European delicacies at the Tastes of Europe receptions, which will take place for half an hour prior to each screening.
The festival will take place on May 26th and 27th, 2023 at the Ottawa Art Gallery, Alma Duncan Salon.
Italy this year participates with the Italian movie 4 Beats directed by Natalia Piervincenzi, on May 27th at 19:00.
Pre-ordering tickets is recommended but are not required to enter the screening. All films include English subtitles for any non-English dialogue. Each screening runs approximately 70 -80 minutes.
We strongly encourage patrons to wear masks during the events.
