In honour of the 700th anniversary of the death of the great Italian poet, the Dante Alighieri Society recently launched its geocultural and language platform, Dante.global, at an event featuring remarks by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
Italian continues to be one of the most popular and studied languages in the world, and to satisfy this demand, the Dante Alighieri Society has created a new platform built around three distinct spaces: language, culture, and teacher training, with both online and in-person activities, and advanced technology tools for professionals and businesses.
With its 132 of history, the Dante Alighieri Society is meeting the challenge of the growing digital and global interconnectedness with this new portal, looking ahead to Italy’s recovery and to a future that puts the emphasis on dialogue and the value of emotion and beauty.
