Liana Canton Cusmano at the Salon du Livre de l’Outaouais (25-28 February, 2021)

The Embassy of Italy, in the framework EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) and together with the Salon du Livre de l’Outaouais (SLO) will present to audiences in the National Capital Region authors from six member countries of the European Union. In the video event Lettres d’Europe, we will discover contemporary literary voices from Italy, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, and Greece.

EUNIC is an association of national institutes of culture of the European Union, and its mission is to promote the different cultures of Europe and to support the important role of culture in international relations.

EUNIC Ottawa, currently chaired by Italy, is dedicated to sharing European cultures and to engaging with the cultural expressions of the national capital and the Outaouais region. Participating in the prestigious Salon for the first time this year, EUNIC is presenting six exceptional writers who will help us get better acquainted with European culture.

As part of the Salon, Liana Canton Cusmano, an award-winning Italian and Canadian writer, spoken word poet, and filmmaker will present their work.

Lettres d’Europe will be available as of February 28 at 10:00 a.m. EDT on the SLO website and Facebook page.
