The new Join-IT (Jobs International – ITALIA) portal was launched on January 12 by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). Join-It is dedicated to employment opportunities for Italian citizens at International Organizations. Developed by the Directorate General for Human Resources and the Directorate General for Administration and Information Technology of the MAECI, the initiative grew out of data gathered at universities and advanced professional training institutes and through discussions with candidates for positions at International Organizations.
Thanks to its dual function, Join-It is a valuable tool for aspiring international service officers who are Italian citizens. It is both a dedicated search engine, through which users can see in real time any job posts published on the websites of major international organizations and, thanks to an intuitive interface and filters, users can perform targeted searches of the available opportunities. Once a user has identified a position of interest they may apply directly through the website of the organization listing the position.
Join-It also establishes a direct contact between the user and the MAECI. By registering on the portal, users have access to their own Personal Area where they can save job posts of interest and inform the MAECI of those for which they have applied and any developments in the selection process.
