2020 European Union Film Festival: November 13 to 29

The 2020 European Union Film Festival (EUFF) is moving online and going nation-wide!

From November 13 to 29, all of Canada will be able to enjoy the best of European cinema.

Extraordinary circumstances, such as those we are living in today, call for new and creative ways to experience life and the arts – and cinema is no exception.

The EUFF arrives this year as a virtual online event featuring an exclusive collection of recent films from 27 European Union Member States, but also filmmaker interviews and other special content for fans of contemporary European cinema.

This year’s festival is a special collaboration between the Canadian Film Institute, the European Union Film Festival in Toronto, and The Cinematheque in Vancouver, who have joined forces with the Delegation of the European Union, the Embassies and Consulates of EU Member States.

In this online edition of the EUFF each film will be ‘live’ online for a 48-hour period.

All films are presented in their original languages with English and, in some cases, French subtitles.
