The second edition of “Vivo d’Arte”, the prize contest dedicated to young Italian artists (under 36 years of age) permanently residing abroad, has been announced. The success of the first edition confirmed the initiative as an excellent tool to enhance the creativity and talent of our young compatriots residing abroad and to encourage collaboration and fusion with other cultures.

This year once again the prize contest will be divided into two distinct categories, one dedicated to the Performing Arts, the other to the Visual Arts, in collaboration with the Romaeuropa Foundation, the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna, and with the participation of the MiBACT.

As with the first edition, the winning project of the Visual Arts category will be presented in Rome on October 21, 2020 at the next edition of the Romaeuropa Festival.

The call for applications for the Performing Arts category will be followed in the coming months by the launch of “Vivo d’Arte – Visual Arts”, which will offer the winner the opportunity to complete an artistic residency at the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in Bologna (MAMBO).
