Quotes

“Maria Elena Boschi’s leadership to advance gender equality and end gender based violence is inspiring. I appreciated the opportunity to hear her story and to learn more about Italy’s efforts to improve outcomes for women and girls. Canada is thankful to Italy for their leadership, particularly as they hold the G7 presidency in 2017. We will build on this work in 2018 as we take over and host the G7 Summit in Charlevoix, Quebec. Our collective and innovative efforts to create more choice and opportunities for women and girls will improve our economies and societies for everyone.”
