Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, received the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Staffan De Mistura, at the Farnesina today. During the talks, Minister Gentiloni confirmed Italy’s support for the work of the United Nations and condemned the continuous bombing, through which the Assad regime has been striking for days on end at the civilian population of eastern Aleppo.
