“Italy expresses its strongest condemnation for the new nuclear test conducted today by the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea which poses a threat to Asia and world peace Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paolo Gentiloni, said.
The test represents a new clear violation of the related resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations and a serious threat to peace and to international and regional security.
The People’s Democratic Republic of Korea must abandon the development of a nuclear and missile arsenal and the path of challenge of the international community and self-imposed isolation.
While condemning once more the provocative and destabilizing initiatives of Pyongyang, Italy will give its contribution to a firm and cohesive reaction of the international community.
