University for Foreigners
University for Foreigners of Perugia: is the oldest Italian university mainly oriented to foreign students. It is specialized in teaching and spreading Italian language and culture abroad. The university is also involved in the training of Professors who teach Italian as a foreign language.
University for Foreigners of Siena: is specialized in teaching and disseminating Italian language and culture, the study of Italian in contact with other languages, and the training of Italian teachers. It also organizes courses of Italian language and culture for foreign students.

Associated and Recognized Schools
ASILS (Association of Schools of Italian as a Second Language) groups most of the Italian schools operating in various parts of Italy and aims to ensure the seriousness and professional competence of such schools with regard to the teaching and services provided to students.
