The calls for applications are now open for admission to two of the Master’s Degree programs offered by the School of International Studies at the University of Trento: the Master’s Degree in International Security Studies (MISS), delivered in collaboration with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and the Master’s Degree in European and International Studies (MEIS). For both programs, all teaching activities are conducted in English.
The admission calls for “non-European” candidates are open until March 4, 2026. This category includes candidates who:

Are citizens of non-European Union countries and are not residents in Italy;

Are citizens of non-European Union countries holding a study residence permit in Italy and not resident in Italy;

Are citizens of non-European Union countries holding temporary protection status, not resident in Italy, and who have not obtained a secondary school diploma in Italy.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Trento offers 2 scholarships for students enrolling in the Master’s Degree in International Security Studies and 2 scholarships for students enrolling in the Master’s Degree in European and International Studies. Each scholarship amounts to €7,200 per year. Tuition fee waivers are available to a larger number of students based on their ranking score in the admission list. An additional funding opportunity is available for descendants of emigrants from Trentino.
