The Jewish Federation of Ottawa, in recognition of the Holocaust Education Month, presents a talk with Aili McConnon, co-author of “Road to Valour”, the inspiring story of legendary cyclist Gino Bartali, who made the greatest comeback in Tour de France history and who, between his Tour victories, secretly aided the Italian resistance during World War II. Aili will speak about the process of writing the book and uncovering this incredible piece of history.
