The the 10th edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World – an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, dedicated to enhancing Italian gastronomic excellence at the international level – will soon begin in Ottawa.
The theme chosen for this year’s edition, “Cuisine between Health, Culture, and Innovation”, invites you to explore Italian cuisine through its three fundamental dimensions: health, inspired by the principles of the Mediterranean diet; culture, as an expression of Italian culinary tradition; and innovation, looking to the future through new technologies and sustainable approaches.
For this occasion, the Embassy of Italy in Canada has engaged numerous Italian and Canadian restaurants in the Ottawa area, which, from November 17 to 23, 2025, will offer special menus inspired by Italian gastronomic tradition, prepared with authentic and high-quality products, to provide the local public with a journey through the flavors, creativity, and culinary culture of our country.
