Job opening at the Italian Trade Commission

The Italian Trade Commission (ITC) is seeking applicants for a PROCUREMENT DESK OFFICER position, in charge of the Osservatorio Gare e Appalti (Procurement Desk) at its MONTREAL OFFICE. The Procurement Desk Officer will support the ITC in assisting Italian companies interested in bidding for contracts for the provision of goods, services and works, within the Canadian marketplace. The Desk aims to become a key point of contact and an essential information and competence center for Italian companies wishing to participate in Canadian tenders. The Procurement Desk Officer will work in collaboration with the Italian Embassy and its Consular Offices in Canada to facilitate relations with public administrations. The Procurement Desk Officer will travel on a regular basis to several destinations within Canada. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada, i.e. be a Canadian citizen or have Permanent Residency status in Canada. The Italian Trade Commission will not sponsor any employees directly or indirectly. The position is temporary and full-time, i.e. 35 hours a week in presence at ITC’s office in Montréal.
