The calls for applications are now open for admission to two of the Master\u2019s Degree programs offered by the School of International Studies at the University of Trento: the Master\u2019s Degree in International Security Studies (MISS)<\/strong>, delivered in collaboration with the Sant\u2019Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and the Master\u2019s Degree in European and International Studies (MEIS)<\/strong>. For both programs, all teaching activities are conducted in English<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The admission calls for \u201cnon-European\u201d candidates are open until March 4, 2026.<\/strong> This category includes candidates who:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Are citizens of non-European Union countries and are not residents in Italy;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Are citizens of non-European Union countries holding a study residence permit in Italy and not resident in Italy;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Are citizens of non-European Union countries holding temporary protection status, not resident in Italy, and who have not obtained a secondary school diploma in Italy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For the 2026\/2027 academic year, the University of Trento offers 2 scholarships<\/strong> for students enrolling in the Master\u2019s Degree in International Security Studies<\/strong> and 2 scholarships<\/strong> for students enrolling in the Master\u2019s Degree in European and International Studies.<\/strong> Each scholarship amounts to \u20ac7,200 per year. Tuition fee waivers are available to a larger number of students based on their ranking score in the admission list. An additional funding opportunity is available for descendants of emigrants from Trentino.<\/p>\n

    A second call for applications for \u201cEuropean and equivalent\u201d candidates (EU citizenship + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Republic of San Marino, Vatican City; non-EU citizenship but residence in Italy) will be open from April 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n
