4. The initiative of Slow Food: A future for Amatrice
Slow Food Association has launched an international aid campain to support the people affected by the earthquake that hit Central Italy on August 24th. Slow Food is calling on restaurants around the world, and specifically those specializing in Italian cuisine, to add for a whole year to their menus the “pasta all’Amatriciana” and to donate to the City of Amatrice 2 Euros ($3 CAD) for each dish ordered ($1.50 donated by the customers and $1.50 by the restaurants).
